Individual Gelato and Sorbet Cups Coming in 2009

Irvington, NJ (February 23, 2009) — CIAO BELLA®, America’s favorite gelato, announced that they will begin retailing single serve cups of their gourmet gelato and sorbet this year. The individually-sized cups, set to be unveiled at the Natural Products Expo West this month, will become available to consumers in Spring 2009.

The Single Serve Cups which will be 3.5 ounces and sold individually with a spoon tucked under the lid will be available at national retailers where Ciao Bella is currently available in pints. The cups will initially be available in two of Ciao Bella’s most popular flavors, Turkish Pistachio gelato and Sicilian Blood Orange sorbet, the company’s top-selling gelato and sorbet flavors respectively. Tahitian Vanilla gelato, Chocolate Hazelnut gelato, and Alphonso Mango sorbet are planned for early summer.
